Privacy Policy

This policy explains how FileFeed processes data for our embeddable importer and Automated FileFeeds. It covers the data we collect, how we use it, how we secure it, and your choices.

What we collect

  • Account data: name, email, company, role, authentication tokens.
  • Product usage: events, device/browser metadata, performance signals.
  • Customer-uploaded files: only when you use FileFeed to ingest files; retention follows your org’s settings.
  • Support interactions: tickets, chat threads, diagnostic logs you share.

How we use data

  • To provide the importer and Automated FileFeeds, including validation, mapping, and delivery you configure.
  • To secure the service (fraud, abuse, incident response, audit logs).
  • To improve reliability and UX (aggregated analytics, performance tuning).
  • To provide support you request.

Data retention

  • Account and billing data: retained while you are a customer and as required for compliance.
  • File uploads and derived data: retained per workspace settings; you can delete or request deletion.
  • Logs: retained for security/operations on a rolling basis.

Security

  • Data encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
  • Access controls, least privilege, audit logging, and environment isolation.
  • Regular backups and monitoring.

Your choices

  • Access, update, or delete your account data by contacting support.
  • Configure file retention and deletion inside FileFeed.
  • Opt-out of non-essential communications via email preferences.

Subprocessors

We use vetted infrastructure and monitoring providers to run FileFeed. On request we provide a current list of subprocessors and notify customers of material changes where required.
